Meaning---> In this kuliyuga all rishi will bless from one single state (jothi mayam). Many siddhars have not taken samadhi with their sadam(physical body). The have changed into arubham(no form) and from there changed into whatever forms they liked. The forms they take are usually birds and livings things smaller than that and still keep roaming round with these new forms. One who thinks about them gets access and blessings from them.
Veda Vyas and Sukhabrama rishi's preachings was when human started changing his behavior from before(refered as kuliyuga: for time reference). Most of the epics are secrets of to our (human's) existence and manifestation using stories. Though some may debate that all of this really happened on a physical plane, let's not go there now :-). I'm bringing this point here to re-iterate all epics, vedas, Upanishads, Siddanthas are there to help us finds whom we are instead of delibrating meaning of God outside us. A classic example is when Sukhabramrishi talks to King Parikshit during his last seven days before death. Parikshit was cursed to death by a sage's son due to his ill-behaviour and said he will die on the 7 day due to a snake bite. So the king decided to be in company with great sages for these days and hear the truths in vedas.
Sukha magarishi walking into the groups of sages sitting besides Parikshit
Suka Maharishi placed before Raja Parikshit a picture of the Cosmic Being, through whose Being, through whose Person, run all the levels of existence – seven realms. Having described this wondrous structure of creation through every level which one has to pass in the process of spiritual evolution.
The Seven lokas are Bhuloka, Bhuvarloka, Svarloka, Maharloka,
Janarloka,Tapoloka and Satyaloka. The Satyaloga is the sahasradharam in
one's siras (kabalam).
Suka asked Parikshit to consider himself
as a soul which is identical with the Universal Soul. In that may you
meditate. Forget the idea that you are Parikshit, and when the snake
comes and bites, let it bite the body. Suka blessed and initiated
Parikshit, and Parikshit sat in deep meditation; and unaware of the
snake coming and biting him. It is said that the king attained motcham
after that. These stories always have a message to truth seekers. The
snake, seven days, curse etc may have different meanings to it and they
are always associate to our internals than externals. Else the seven
lokas of vedas or seven churches mentioned in bible will have to be
searched externally that never exist. All these are inside and the
search is inside
One other strength on Suka maharishi was is deep conditioning of mind
He was digambara from young age. Though he tried to cover his natural
glory, the great sages present there were all expert in the art of
physiognomy, and so they honored him by rising from their seats. There
was an instance when Suka maharishi walked near a lake, where the ladies
or kids bathing naked didn't even bother his presence. However when
Vyasa went to the place following his son, the ladies and kids covered
themselves with dress due to shyness. It is believed that his
conditioning had impact on others surrounding him. This conditioning
could have been because of his Gurus Ribhu and Brighu magarishi.
A little about Sukha munivar, Ribhu munivar and Ribhu Geetha . This gita is a part of Siva ragasyam (6th part) and reciting this can condition on to their core. Ribhu who did strong penance dictated this to his prime disciple Nidaga. These songs were in Sanskrit and was recorded in leaves by Nidaga and Sugabrama rishi. Post that Nidaga name the gita as Ribhu gita and stayed in Himalayas to continue his meditation. Sukha brahma rishi carried these leaves and travelled south towards Suruli hills and continued his meditation. From there he headed to Chaturagiri/ Saturagiri and preached this gita to many sages there.
Under Ramana Maharishi's request ulaganatha swamigal translated the gita in tamil for 1924 songs forming 44 chapters. Ramanar has insisted on 26th Chapter for all spiritual practioners and says this one book is enough. Personally I see Ribhu's teachings has inspired his thoughts as seen from books like " Who am I"
So next time if you see a parrot, crow or another living things beware it may be one of the great souls around you..
